That only made Liam cling onto Zagan tighter, so tightly his knuckles began to turn white from the strain, “I-I won’t go! Don’t leave me!”

Sadly, Haneil approached the boy, kneeling down so he could whisper reassurances into his boy’s ear, promising everything would be alright eventually. Liam wasn’t buying it at all.

“G-get away from us!” the small angel demanded, burying his tear stained face into his lover’s shirt.

“Liam… This is going to happen whether you stay or not. You can’t stop them from punishing me. I killed a king, don’t you understand this…?”

“I don’t care,”  The angel insisted, “I-If you’re gone…I-I..” A sob escaped him as he continued to cling, “I won’t know what to do with myself!”
